Aaron & Meredith Save The Date Film

About a year ago we decided to start exhibiting at bridal shows in Southern California, in hopes that we’d network with other professionals in the industry and meet potential clients. At every show we meet anywhere from 50 to 200 brides (on average.) As an incentive we always give away a “Save the Date” film or photoshoot to one lucky winner. I’m so glad that we picked Meredith’s name!

After a short coffee meeting with Meredith and her fiance, Aaron, I couldn’t wait to work with them. When we say someone is “easy-going”, a lot of times they might just be plain ‘ol boring. Not the case with these two. They’re both some of the most laid back individuals I’ve met, but with a pinch of pizzazz and a whole lot of quirky fun.

This was one of our first shoots with “Elena” (Our RED Scarlet) and had a blast with it! Not to mention, Aaron and Meredith were an incredibly easy couple to work with. We followed them around downtown Los Angeles, rode on the Angels Flight “train”, and headed towards Grand Central Market. The market tends to be iffy about filming inside during operating hours (without a rather pricey permit), so while the guys hauled the gear around to the other side, I grabbed one of our DSLRs and followed Aaron and Meredith inside. Luckily, I made it out of the market 10 minutes later with some decent hand-held shots.

We ended our shoot at Botega Louie’s, where we ordered their famous portebello mushroom fries, and prosciuetto broccoli pizza. Aaron and Meredith both would consider themselves “foodies”, and we enjoyed sharing a meal with them, while talking about our favorite restaurants and local foodie hotspots in L.A.!

This couple has an awesome plan for their wedding day celebration at The Cicada, and we can’t wait to see how it all turns out! Aaron and Meredith, we wish you all the best, and a long life of fun-filled adventures ahead!
