Rabin + Rita Wedding Short Film

Rabin and Rita came to us a little over a month before their wedding, asking if we would be interested in filming what would be our first Indian wedding. We’ve eagerly been waiting for the opportunity, and were really excited when they approached us.

The day of the wedding we arrived at 6:30am at The Westin Bonaventure in downtown Los Angeles. Fingers had been crossed all week, hoping that this outdoor January wedding wouldn’t be affected by weather. Sure enough, the rain started pouring down as we began unloading equipment. Initially, Rita was really disappointed that the terrace set-up would no longer work, and discouraged that Rabin’s entrance on the horse would also be moved to a different location.

Over the course of wedding day prep and set up the clouds began to separate, leaving us with some beautiful lighting. The bride and groom were overjoyed that their first look, pictures, and Rabin’s entrance, were moved back outdoors. As were the photographers, and our crew at FlyFeNniX!

It was an incredible experience shooting this wedding, with the vibrant colors, and traditions of Indian culture. Many congratulations to the beautiful bride and groom, enjoy the film!
