Shane+Ashley Wedding Short Film

I first met Ashley at a local bridal expo in Valencia. Ironically, she wasn’t visiting as a bride, but actually representing the Hyatt as a vendor. A month or so after we met, she contacted FlyFeNniX and we met up with her and Shane to discuss filming their wedding.

I always love hearing the stories of how couples met, and the things they’ve been through together that has led up to their wedding day. Shane and Ashley’s is a story I don’t hear often. These two met when they were 11 years old at a softball camp. The day they met, Ashley wrote a journal entry that described this cute new boy she had met, and her suspicions about his reciprocative interest. Well, low and behold 13,14 years later they met at the alter to exchange “I do’s”, and we were so privileged to be a part of it.

Its obvious Ashley has experience with event planning, because her wedding was absolutely beautiful. From a decadent spread of purple and green sweets, to the sweet smelling floral arrangements, all of these beautiful details made for the perfect environment for Ashley and Shane’s best party together yet. Having known each other for years and years, it was extra special to watch their friends and family truly celebrate with them, having considered both Shane and Ashley an inseparable duo for so long.
